Our approach to eye surgery in Kelowna is to first establish relationships with our patients.  You will meet and work with our specialized medical team including our surgical counselors and optometrist.  The questions, measurements, and special tests we complete will help us understand your unique needs and goals.  Every patient is then given the opportunity to meet with the surgeon prior to their surgery. (this is unique to laser surgery)  Dr. Baldassare will make sure that all of your questions have been answered and that you are comfortable you are making the right decision.  He will then develop a customized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

We offer a wide variety of surgical technologies and offer both corneal refractive surgery [LASIK eye surgery, PRK eye surgery], and intraocular refractive surgery.  Intraocular refractive surgeries include implantable contact lenses, clear lens exchange, astigmatism correcting lens implants, and multifocal lens implants.  These comprehensive procedure options allow us to treat almost all forms of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. If you've been told you're not a candidate for LASIK or PRK, there may be other treatment options.  Understanding your needs will help us to together select the best choice for you or even to tell you if you are not a good candidate for refractive surgery.
