At your consultation appointment you will complete a number of preliminary tests and then will meet with our Clinic Director, Dr. Marc Stickle, who will review your results and make sure you are educated on all of your options prior to meeting with the surgeon.

Dr. Stickle moved into private practice in Kelowna in 1989, taking care of primary eye care patients with a special interest in laser surgery pre- and post-operative care.  He completed advanced training in laser surgery management including certification on both the VISX and Wavelight laser systems.

As a BC native and after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1988, Dr. Stickle returned to BC, spending one year in Vancouver prior to moving to Kelowna.  In 2005-2006 he attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, completing his MBA specializing in science and technology.

Upon returning to Kelowna he has been working with Dr. Ron Baldassare in establishing Vivid Laser Centre and in bringing the Wavelight laser platform to Kelowna.
